विराट कोहली की अगुवाई में टीम इंडिया ने एक बार फिर इतिहास रचा है. साउथ अफ्रीका को 3-0 से धूल चटाने के बाद पूरी टीम के हौसले बुलंद हैं, मैच खत्म होने के बाद टीम इंडिया के कोच रवि शास्त्री ने भी बड़ा बयान दिया है. उन्होंने कहा कि हमारा मकसद सिर्फ एक था कि सामने वाले के 20 विकेट निकालो, भाड़ में गया पिच सिर्फ 20 विकेट से मतलब है.

मैच में जीत दर्ज करने के बाद जब रवि शास्त्री ने कमेंटेटर से बात की तो वह जोश से लबरेज़ दिखे. उन्होंने कहा, ‘हमने कहा था कि पिच को निकाले गेम से, भाड़ में गया पिच फिर चाहे जोहानिसबर्ग हो या फिर दिल्ली-मुंबई. हमारा काम ये था कि सिर्फ विकेट निकालो, इसके लिए एक बॉलिंग यूनिट की जरूरत थी, जिसे हमने तैयार करने की कोशिश की.’

रवि शास्त्री ने बॉलिंग यूनिट के साथ-साथ टीम इंडिया के बल्लेबाजों की भी तारीफ की. उन्होंने कहा कि अजिंक्य रहाणे, रोहित शर्मा ने शानदार बल्लेबाजी की. रोहित शर्मा ने बतौर ओपनर शानदार खेल दिखाया, उन्होंने पिच को अच्छे से समझा और अपना खेल खेला.

कोच रवि शास्त्री बोले कि अक्सर हम देखते हैं कि एक-दो प्लेयर ही मैच जिता रहे हैं, लेकिन इस बार हमारे पास 6-7 मैच जिताने वाले प्लेयर निकले.

शाहबाज नदीम की जमकर तारीफ

रांची टेस्ट के साथ डेब्यू करने वाले शाहबाज नदीम की तारीफ में रवि शास्त्री ने कसीदे पढ़े हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि शाहबाज नदीम पूरे मैच में शानदार रहा, अगर बिशन सिंह बेदी देख रहे होते तो वो कहते कि शाबाश, लड़के!! उन्होंने कहा कि हमें खुशी है कि नदीम ने ही आज मैच भी खत्म कर रहा है.

आपको बता दें कि भारत ने रांची टेस्ट में साउथ अफ्रीका को पारी और 202 रनों से हराया है. शानदार दोहरे शतक के लिए रोहित शर्मा को मैन ऑफ द मैच का खिताब मिला है. भारत ने साउथ अफ्रीका को 3-0 से मात दी है.
